About This Course
The ISO 27001 Lead Implementer programme equips professionals to plan, implement, manage, and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001. Participants learn the standard’s requirements, risk assessment and treatment, Annex A controls, and the practical steps to take an organisation from gap assessment through to certification readiness.

The structure and requirements of ISO/IEC 27001, key concepts of information security management, and the certification process.
Planning & Initiating the ISMS
Defining scope, securing management commitment, and establishing the policies and objectives that frame the ISMS.
Risk Assessment & Treatment
Conducting information security risk assessments and selecting and implementing Annex A controls to treat identified risks.
Implementation, Monitoring & Certification
Operating the ISMS, performing internal audits and management review, driving continual improvement, and preparing for the certification audit.
